Essential Mods

  • NoxMod
    Trials Fusion · by NoxMentis

    Improves performance, lowers input lag, and adds quality-of-life tweaks.

    • Takes control of the framerate to improve frame stability and input latency
    • Options to hide parts of the default UI and replace them with simple UI elements
    • Extra UI options like a checkpoint counter
    Requirements
    • Windows 10 or 11
    • DirectX 11.1 capable graphics card
    Step 1

    Download NoxMod and unzip it.

    Step 2

    Start Trials Fusion in windowed mode by loading the game and going into settings (Windowed Mode → ON).

    Step 3

    Set the resolution of the game to the same as your desktop.

    Step 4

    Exit the game and paste xinput1_3.dll into the folder that contains trials_fusion.exe. Typical datapack locations:

    • Uplay — .../Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/Trials Fusion/datapack
    • Steam — .../SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Trials Fusion/datapack
    Step 5

    Load the game. You should see text that the mod was loaded. Press F1 to open the mod menu.

    If you do not have a variable refresh rate monitor (G-Sync / FreeSync), disable VRRSupport and enable VSync to remove screen tearing. This might require a game restart. Turning on VSync will remove some or all of the input latency benefit.

    Update
    • Overwrite the old xinput1_3.dll with the new one.
    • To reset mod settings, delete noxmod.ini in the datapack/noxmod folder.
    • To reset window positions, delete imgui.ini in the datapack/noxmod folder.
    • If upgrading from v0.8 or lower and you want to keep unchanged settings, create a noxmod folder and put the mod files there (except xinput1_3.dll, which must stay in the datapack folder).
    Uninstall
    • Delete or rename the xinput1_3.dll file in the datapack folder.
    • To reset settings, delete noxmod.ini and imgui.ini in the noxmod folder.
